Ambidexterity

The Athleticism Ambidexterity program cultivates right and left-brain development or Whole Brain Thinking . Harnessing both sides of your brain and body working together and equally allows the athlete to perform at a higher level with in a relaxed state of mind. The greatest athletes and geniuses are and were ambidextrous! We offer a variety of hand-eye coordination drills to develop soft, quick hands under a timed / pressure situations.  The exercises include:

  • Juggling
  • Washers
  • Stacking Cups
  • Bricks

 

 

Juggling is also another aspect of connecting to the universal rhythm and being able to process a lot of information at one time. These are the same neuro-networks your brain needs to be able to perform at a higher level in your sport. These drills develop dexterity, relaxed concentration, visualization, soft - quick hands and ambidexterity. This enhances the ability to be in a state of complete consciousness during your sport. Most of the athletes are left-brain dominant; logical, linear, self motivated. We need to develop the right-brain functions and traits including; subconscious, imagination, circular, creative, flowing, innovative, circular, dreamer and rhythm.
